Ob Portus is dedicated to helping people discover their remarkable, exceptionally outstanding, highly significant, noble or lofty character. All people were created for greatness. There is no “great” DNA strand or gene that enables some people to achieve at a high level, while others have a “mediocre” gene that limits their achievement potential. Discover your inner greatness, learn how to use it to achieve on a high level and inspire others to do the same.

Ob Portus Founder, Welford “Mack” McLellan Jr. began his nonprofit career working with children with autism. Though many of the children were considered “low-functioning”, their personalities were so wonderful dynamic that is forever changed his outlook on life. Mack realized that we are all born with greatness, though many of us don’t realize it. His time working with children with autism helped Mack discover his own inner greatness. 

After working with children with autism, Mack spent a few years working with students in the Baltimore City Public School System; many of whom did not attend school to learn. The students desired positive adult relationships more than anything else, and their longing for those meaningful relationships inspired Mack to help others discover their inner greatness.
